Terms of service

  1. Definitions. "Lockboss.nl": refers to the webshop operated by Lockboss, which offers battery locks and related products. "Customer": refers to any person or entity that purchases products via Lockboss.nl. "Products": refers to the Lockboss locks and related products offered for sale in the Lockboss webshop.

  2. Applicability. These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Lockboss and the customer relating to the sale and delivery of products via the webshop. By using the webshop and placing an order, the customer accepts these general terms and conditions. The customer has also agreed to the general terms and conditions when creating an account on Lockboss.nl.

  3. Orders can be placed via the Lockboss website. Lockboss reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in the event of stock problems, suspected fraud or other reasonable grounds. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the order details provided. Lockboss is not liable for delays or errors resulting from incorrect information.

  4. Prices and payment. All prices on the Lockboss website are stated in euros and include VAT and shipping costs, unless stated otherwise in writing. Payment must be made at the time of ordering using the payment methods available on the website. Payments on invoice are only approved when the Payment Terms for Delivery on Invoice, described in section 5, are accepted. Lockboss reserves the right to change prices at any time. Such changes do not affect orders already placed.

  5. Payment terms for delivery on invoice. Payment term: payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Reminder: in case of late payment, the customer will receive a reminder after the payment term has expired. Collection procedure: if payment has not been received within 21 days of the invoice date, the file will be handed over to a collection agency. Any resulting costs are for the customer's account. Suspension of delivery: in case of repeated non-payment, the supplier reserves the right to suspend further deliveries until the outstanding invoices have been paid.

  6. Delivery. Lockboss aims to process and deliver orders within 24 hours, but cannot be held responsible for delays beyond its control. The estimated delivery time is stated on the website and is indicative only. Lockboss is not liable for any delays in delivery. The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the customer at the moment of delivery.

  7. Exchanges and returns. Customers have the right to cancel the agreement within 30 days of receiving the products without giving any reason. Returned products must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging. Return costs are for the customer's account, unless otherwise agreed.

  8. Warranty. Lockboss provides a warranty on the products sold in accordance with statutory provisions and the manufacturer's warranty conditions. The warranty period and conditions vary per product and are stated on the Lockboss website.

  9. Liability. Lockboss is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect, arising from the use of the products or the webshop. The total liability of Lockboss towards the customer is limited to the amount the customer paid for the products concerned.

  10. Intellectual property rights. All intellectual property rights relating to the Lockboss website and the content published on it, such as texts, images and logos, remain the property of Lockboss or its licensors. It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute or use the website or any part of it for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Lockboss.

  11. Force majeure. In the event of force majeure, Lockboss is not obliged to fulfil its obligations. Force majeure includes, among other things: war, natural disasters, strikes, fire and government measures.

  12. Applicable law and dispute resolution. These general terms and conditions and all agreements between Lockboss and the customer are governed by Dutch law. Disputes between Lockboss and the customer will in the first instance be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

  13. Changes. Lockboss reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions at any time. The amended terms apply to all new orders. Customers are advised to consult the general terms and conditions on the Lockboss website regularly.
