We have 3 models: the L1, L2 and L4. They fit different types of fatbike. Check the product info to see which fatbikes each Lockboss model fits.

If your Lockboss doesn't fit, there's only 1 possibility: you ordered the wrong one!

If you have an Ouxi V80/C80/E-Father/Crossboss, you need the Lockboss L1. You can recognise it by its two fixed upright metal 'arms'.

The Lockboss L2 has 1 fixed upright arm and 1 that tilts, so you can take the battery out of your V20/V20 Pro.

So it's possible you ordered the wrong one. If in doubt, send a photo to info@lockboss.nl and we'll tell you which Lockboss you have.

You may have mounted it the wrong way round. The angled side arms with the holes should be at the top of the bike. Occasionally the stickers are applied the wrong way round, which makes you mount the Lockboss upside down.

You can leave your bike outside with the battery in it. At night, however, it's always better to bring your whole bike inside if you can, because at night thieves may take your entire bike so they can grind off all the locks somewhere else in peace. If you do want to leave your bike outside locked to a fence at night, your Lockboss gives enough protection against the battery being stolen on its own. But of course the Lockboss doesn't protect your whole bike against theft.

Yes, you can. We made an opening in the steel frame so you can charge your battery while it's in the Lockboss.
