I founded the Lockboss brand in 2024. It was in that year that battery theft of Ouxi and V20 batteries began to skyrocket. Thousands of unprotected batteries are now being kicked out of these popular fat bikes every month. Even in secured parking garages, unprotected batteries are not safe!

My son Sam rides an Ouxi V8. His battery was stolen twice in 3 months when he went to the gym and the supermarket. That was the reason for me to solve this problem once and for all.

With the help of a team of industrial designers AND with the help of a construction workshop, we created a lock especially for the battery and frame of the Ouxi V8. During the first weeks of selling it, there were many urgent calls to also make a lock for the V20. That was tricky, but ultimately also perfectly successful. The Lockboss L2, especially for V20 and V20 Pro and V8 MINI.

To complete the story, we then also made the L3 for the S20 Pro.
